Education is a critical element of the conservation effort. Educating youth ensures that the next generation will be wise stewards of Montana’s natural resources. Helping today’s adults and students understand the need for effective conservation practices builds on the conservation legacy. We must adequately prepare our children for the future they will inherit. That requires a commitment to providing children – as well as landowners new and experienced – with education that engages their interests and encourages them to be more involved in conservation.
